I'm familiar with online advertising. Over the past 4-5 years a new kind of advertising technology has entered the market. It's called "Programatic advertising". Basically, clients will use this to cover a wide range of sites where they want their ads to run on, while the programatic software scans all available slots and conducts a form of real-time bidding for the cheapest placings for your ads at any given time.
Trade Desk is the big leader in this space.
Currently, only 3% of ads are run through programatic platforms so there's plenty of runway for this company to grow massively. I know from my experience that programatic advertising works better than other placements, meaning it's more efficient for advertisers which makes this a good investment.
