UYG long the financials. look at this around these levels, and write the calls on it. i think over the next few months this rallies back to 14 15 range. but keep writting the calls to bring cost avg down until then. but bringing in .80 to 1.05

Are short-sellers piling into PRU and MS today?

Maybe, Harry Reid wasn't such an alarmist after all with his concerns that troubles are spilling into the insurance firms (wow, PRU is down 27% today). I read that MET and HIG may be forced to get together.

It's a very volatile market!

Days like today is definitely a day-trader's market. I have shorted SKF near the high today betting the FED may announce further interest rate cut tomorrow during Ben's speech.

I was going to add to UYG but decided to add IMCL instead. On buyout offer at 70 not final but better than a craps shot.

Not Getting What I expected...

With the preliminary senate passage of the bailout, I expected a bounce in financials on the open today. Furures are down and banks down after hours, not at all what I expected. Looking to my motto for guidance.
