This is purly a speculative play (2.5% of portfolio). Therehas been a lot of chatter about potential buyouts and Mergers and today was announced a large scale Wimax deployment in conjuction with the cable indeustry, Google, Itel and more. http://www.forbes.com/feeds/ap/2008/05/07/ap4981460.html
Any other thoughts out there?

ALVR would be a great company to look at to complete that play. They are the last WIMAX company that hasn't been bought up yet and me be interesting for the big boys to gobble up. Up 8.5% yesterday, so I guess I'm not the only on putting 2 and 2 together..

honestly, I'm always surprised when I meet someone that actually owns a Sprint phone.. but there must be many.. I just can't see why.. old technology.. weird Sanyo phones.. hehe - seriously.. Sanyo have phones..
I think ITGURU makes a good point here.. can't go much lower and wimax revamped sounds like an opportunity.. I'll pass though - the Tuna never speculates on M&A's.. I'm a value investing freak!
