Reports are out - in what looks to be a shitty day..

Europe got his yesterday with the worst day since 9/11... I'm assuming the US market will get one in the nutts as well - the futures are saying a 4% drop today.
I wonder how this will bear on Apple, whom I expect to have good results coming out this afternoon.

Apple is releasing their Q4 reports this afternoon (ET time). This information always leaks, so the stock's performance today should be an indication of what the report says. Also I suspect that the MacBook Air will have an impact in the near future. If the reports are bad it will soften the blow, if they are good the MacBook Air will make it even better.

The question is if Apple good news won't drown in a falling market. Futures say it will be down 4% today.
