paralells between texas holdem and the capital markets

kiplingers recently put out an article based on some MIT research that compares the game texas holdem to picking stocks. I recently became the tucson champ of texas holdem after only seven games. I got a free flight to Vegas and a shot at the title. I go in april. I applied much of what I have learned here at mg to my game and am studying the fascinating links between game theory and investing.

Nice!! Good luck in the vegas tourney.
You could apply the way AAPL traded over the last few days. They bring the stock down to shake out the nervous players (even this morning) and then take it right up before the news tomorrow.

I just think people have a hard time grasping how powerful that company has come to be. Next phase for Apple is media dominance - they are already selling HBO on iTunes and i see them bigger in broadcasting than NBC in 5 years. This one's a keeper, no doubt :)
