Following the boom in grain prices and increase in crop planting, decreased land available for livestock should begin to reflect in higher prices through reduced supply.

Advocate - don't you think technology will find the way to lower these costs? otherwise ordinary people may face difficulties buying food for an average size family.

Won't the increase in grain prices also raise the cost for meat producers?
I don't know too much about this industry, but seeing some nice recent upside from Potash (POT) on my portfolio so it does sound like this is an area with growth opportunities..
