european global dow vs US and asian global dow

i noticed on marketwatch there are different figures for the gdow. europe is far lower than asia and the US. It begs the question, what the heck is the gdow?

Never heard of it. I don't pay too much attention to the European economy:
1. I live in USD
2. At any given time, I believe the US will outperform the Europian economy.
