I don't think anything too big will happen. EMC bought Iomega and will take a little while before they revolutionize hardware storage devices. I.T. might take a little longer to recover than the rest of the market because we (American Corporations) need to stop laying people off and start hiring them back before upgrading servers/systems.
I think VMW is dynamite and judging by it's performance I don't see how they won't be back at their 52 week high, which means an extra 40% to todays price. On the EMC front I'm less excited.. it's been a while since we saw good reports from this company. I used to hold the opinion that NTAP were a better company to own than EMC but not so sure any more. That said, I think the digital storage area is a hot growth industry and I'm definitely looking to buy if something good comes along.
I made over 10% on EMC in less than a month and they are still around 40% off their 52 week high. Their performance as well as their reports are pretty decent so I see no reason why the stock wouldn't continue to climb in a nice and relaxed manor.
