I can't say I see anything positive about DSTIZ. DSTI only looks marginally better.

Solar is at the stage where it's looking for larger cap high production companies, not new cell technologies.. those are too risky for words these days. When the market was hot and oil was at 140, you could easily find investor money willing to believe that a new photo cell will revolutionize solar, these days no one is even thinking of it.

I thought the lighter weight and smaller panels were already supposedly revolutionizing the solar industry? When would be the best time to get into solar if you were predisposed to do so?

I wouldn't step into solar just yet.. just unloaded my WFR holding.. I think the market is too rocky to support new energy.. I'm sticking to fossil fules.

I just can't bring myself to buy oil stocks. I might be able to buy some of the clean coal producing companies but it's hard to differentiate on here. Natural Gas I could buy if they weren't pushing to destroy so many animals' habitats with the drilling.
Any suggestions? GE was recommended because of their wind tunnel devices. Any others? Is there a short alternative energy ETF?

No short ETFs, not that you'd want one now. TAN is a possible solar ETF that I recently learned about.
