You may ask what does a tuna have to do in an engine factory..
I've owned Cummings before and did well with them. CMI has been seriously beaten up after the last report.. i think the beating was way too much as fundamentals haven't changed for this company.
They seem to be on their way back up so I'm loading up on some CMI @ market..

51% of CMI biz comes from outside the US. I like that! Any thots on DE or CAT

There are two reasons why I prefer CMI:
1. DE and CAT are both near their 52 week highs so I wouldn't bet on a correction upwards which I'm looking for with Cummings.
2. Both deer and Caterpillar are brands! they sell the whole deal and in a different world as far as advertising / marketing expenses.. Cummings simply sells the engines.
India is big business and CMI owns a plant in India.. don't think the same is true for the others.
So CMI is my favorite in the sector.
