I was debating wether buying WFR or more LDK. After deep research I decided to go on WFR. California has declared that within 20 months it will use 20% of its energy consumption using sustainable energy resources.
WFR seems less volatile and a good long term investment for average risk takers as I do.
A great help picking up this stocks is after getting tips from my guru BlackTuna.

Consider a swap out to TSL, or possibly ESLR. I think TSL is better right here.

Right - LDK isn't a bad choice. They are similar in terms of growth and value in my opinion. However, check out the P/E, EPS, and then compare then technicals. TSL has fallen 50% (despite the good numbers) and it now trading on a support line near a 52 week low. I like to buy things cheap, and it just seems that TSL is the better value at the moment.
Keep in mind I'm a swing trader so I don't hold for the longer term, but I'm not a day trader either. I think TSL could outperform LDK over a period of a few weeks or months, and that's all I'm looking for. I do own TSL calls right now. You can see the stocks I like here: http://www.freevaluestockpicks.com/portfolio.htm and if you go to the main page, you can sign up for my free alerts. I'm generally NOT a small cap trader, but $500M+ cap is still in my comfort zone.
Not sure why WFR is taking such a dump. It seems like a decent company too though the other companies are growing faster. Then again I can't really explain why TSL is so down. Sometimes it's because there's a problem, and sometimes that's just the arbitrage value opportunity we are all seeking. Hopefully it's the later in this case.
