Buying some Newmont mining company... this is another way of saying "I'm buying gold" which another way of saying "the market stinks" which is another way of seeing "I need this money for Poker nights".. in the grand scheme of the market I suppose it's natural to sail south once in a while... hold on to your seats - it's gonna be a nasty ride.

I don't believe in "gold rushes". Maybe this sort of investment is just too traditional for me. I'm not savvy about this sector. Any gurus out there to convince me this way or the other?
