The storage market is diversifying. EMC might have a massive installation base with lucrative contracts but I don't see how they are going to unexpectedly power-up their earnings.
I looked at this again today. It's right up against a longer term resistance line......the MACD looks like it's turning and getting ready to do a bearish crossover, and the stochastics have also just made a bearish crossover above their 80 line. All are strong indicators this stock will drop in the very near term. I wouldn't be surprised to see this stock fall at least 7% on techinical action alone within the next two weeks. It could even fall double that. Thereafter, I'd have to examine the whole issue all over again.
forgive my ignorance here... doesn't EMC report combined with VMW (80% of it is owned by EMC).. does that mean they will get hammered by VMW's unifide report?

Or just buy VMW if you want to tank faster.. hehe.. why would EMC go anywhere? seems like the business is stagnating.
