He's selling fear as usual. This bailout package needs to be scrutinized for another week or two IMHO and not be a lump sum arrangement. Dribble nutrition to the banks until it becomes clear who was somewhat responsible and who wasn't. Let those that weren't fail. A recession is going to happen anyways.
Then pass a balanced budget amendment. Oh look - a caterpillar is smoking a hookah!!
