“You're the Master of your own Fate„

My main goal isn't to outperform the S&P 500, but to earn 15-30% annual return with as little variability as possible. In this bear market, I can only achieve this goal by taking profits as they come and limiting the losses...

Don't act like a mutual fund. Use your small size to your advantage in trading in and out of stocks and ETF's. And protect your capital during this difficult market environment...

I always try to understand both sides (long/short) of the trade. And I usually trade on whichever side that offers the most favorable risk/reward, given my shorter time frame. And when there's too much uncertainty, I stay on the sideline with cash.

For now, I've been trading this market. Later on, I will allocate some money to long-term investments. I think it isn't safe yet to be building long-term positions in stocks. The market will need to form a base over a longer time period, and volatility is still too high...

My daughter and I are fans of Shirley Temple who was a child star who brought happiness and hope to audience during the later part of the Great Depression. I hope you enjoy watching her YouTube videos, too. In the above photo, Shirley is praying for all of us...

My motto is to encourage people to become the master of their financial fate. But if you've just started trading or investing, you might want to practice only with money that you can afford to lose. The market is a dynamic creature whose behaviors are hard to predict with consistency. But together, we will become better traders and investors.
